Avicenna Hotel Sultanahmet

Location was wonderful walking distance to a lot of attractions and the T1 train. staff was very nice and responsive .

My boyfriend and I had an awesome stay at Avicena Hotel! The location is perfect—literally a stone’s throw from all the major sites in Istanbul. For the price, it’s hands down one of the best budget hotels we’ve stayed in. Our room was cozy, clean, functional, and comfortable—basically everything we needed to crash after a full day of walking and eating (mostly eating). The breakfast was great, and the staff? Wow. Nejdet and Ibrahim at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, they really made our short stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even gave great recommendations for things to do around the city. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Istanbul. No question about it. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a cozy, affordable spot with amazing service :)

Wow, what an incredible stay at Avicenna. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff (Kazim, Cengiz, Muhammed, Ismail, and Elif) went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a peaceful sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. Avicenna's location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and shopping. We were able to explore the city with ease and return to the comfort of the hotel in no time. The concierge was extremely helpful in providing recommendations and arranging transportation, making our experience truly seamless. The attention to detail throughout the entire hotel was truly exceptional. Every interaction with the staff, every moment spent in the common areas, and every aspect of our room exuded a sense of care and dedication to guest satisfaction. Overall, our stay at Avicenna was nothing short of perfect. We felt pampered, valued, and rejuvenated. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories at this exceptional hotel. Best feature of the hotel is its a great location with a very short walk to the main sights Blue Mosque etc. The room is adequate but would benefit from updating. Breakfast was ample and to a good standard. The reception and staff were very helpful and polite.

Apart from the excellent view ( though originally we were given the wrong room), the room was relatively quiet ( apart from one night when they have singing in the rooftop restaurant). The location is also very convenient. The breakfast was good, but fresh juices would have been appreciated.
